Net-zero carbon consulting is at the core of our operations. With decades of experience in academia and profession, our team works with architecture and engineering firms as well as cities to offer advanced insight into innovative strategies to achieve carbon-neutral buildings. Our services also include consultation and support to achieve green building certification (e.g., LEED, CaGBC program, Living Building Challenge, etc.).
Building embodied carbon has received significant interest in the past few years due to its contribution to global warming as well as its synergies with operational carbon efficiency. Life Cycle Assessment is therefore a key part of our services. We conduct process-based environmental LCA in different platforms to quantify and assess embodied carbon and other environmental impacts of buildings and cities. We also work with architectural designers in various stages of the design process to identify the opportunities to reduce embodied carbon content of design proposals.
Buildings’ operational energy is a major contributor to global energy use. We conduct various forms of building performance analysis including climate analysis, radiation analysis, thermal modeling, and energy simulation in various stages of design process to help predict and improve the thermal and energy performance of building design proposals.
